CERASORB® foam

The filling of the alveolar ridge to promote regeneration

and new formation of autologous bone.

CERASORB® Foam can be used in maxillofacial surgery and dentistry for filling or reconstruction of single and multiwalled bone defects such as:

– filling of alveolar bone that immediately after a tooth extraction to preserve the alveolar ridge

– increment of the atrophied alveolar ridge

– filling of post-surgical defects to create an implant site

Carefully remove bone fragments and necrotic tissue before inserting the material for bone regeneration. It is essential to put in direct contact CERASORB® Foam with the bloody alveolus and before the insertion, the bone must be rinsed carefully.

Moisten CERASORB® Foam with blood from the defect zone or physiological saline solution before insertion.

CERASORB® foam

Composition

#1

CERASORB® Foam consists of absorbable materials to enhance bone regeneration. These materials are osteoconductive and made from spongiosis in ß-tricalcium phosphate (β-TCP) and porcine collagen for filling and conjunction of traumatic or degenerative bone defects.

CERASORB® foam

Features

#2

The matrix structure of CERASORB® Foam promotes the three-dimensional regeneration of bone tissue. In contact with the vital bone, the synthetic and bioactive ceramic material is completely degraded over the months and at the same time replaced by autologous bone. CERASORB® Foam is radiopaque.
